A Farewell Message from Coach Alex

Hello all,

I am here to inform you all that January 25th will be my last day with First Tee – Fort Worth. This may be a shock for those that I’ve had the privilege to interact with, because as you know, I love First Tee – Fort Worth. I joined the program back in 2013 as a student of the program and stayed involved up to this point in my 20s. First Tee – Fort Worth will forever be my home away from home.

To the parents, I want to thank you for allowing myself and the staff of First Tee – Fort Worth to be a continuing part of your children’s development both as a golfer but also as a person who now has the life skills needed to be a respected and successful individual.

To the kids, I will always cherish the interactions I have had with each and every one of you. You will all do great things in the future, remember to treat others the way you want to be treated, you are all leaders, lead by example. When times get tough, understand you can always ask for help, from your parents, teachers, coaches and even your friends. We are not able to do great things on our own.

This isn’t goodbye, as I will stay involved with First Tee – Fort Worth any way I possibly can. You are all a part of my family and you have all played a crucial role in my own development as a person, and for that, I can’t say it enough but thank you.
