Texas Cup

This team event invites First Tee – Fort Worth’s top 5 players to compete against the top players from chapters across the great state of Texas! This two-day, stroke play tournament follows a traditional high school / college format taking the lowest 4 of the 5 scores from each day to create a combined team score for the event. As a co-ed event, competition is fierce! Players will be invited to a qualifier held on May 4 for three spots on the team. The final two players will be selected as Captain’s Picks based on their past tournament experience, handicap index, active enrollment in chapter programs, and their demonstrated ability to represent our chapter through the code of conduct. Invites to the qualifier tournament will be sent out about one month prior to the event. This year’s host is First Tee – San Antonio at the Hill Country Golf Club June 26 – Practice Round + Dinner June 27 – Round 1 June 28 – Round 2
