We have tried to make the application process as seamless and simple as possible. We'll review volunteer applications every Monday then we'll start sending the next steps below. Your next step in the process is to complete an online background application and our child safety training.  The safety of our participants is our number one priority. We want to ensure each participant and their parent(s) feel welcomed, comfortable and safe while they are with us. Each of our volunteers is required to submit a background check every two (2) years and a child safety training annually. You will receive and email from us with the link and access code to the background check and child safety training. Both are conducted through a site called Sports Engine. Once you have completed and submitted your background application, you will be directed to the child safety training module. You must complete this training prior to beginning your volunteer service. During the background check application, you will be asked to acknowledge information regarding the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This is just a required acknowledgment that the background check company has on their standard application. The First Tee of Fort Worth is not conducting any type of credit check by participating in this background check process. Neither your credit nor credit score will be affected.
