Tee it Up for Competition…
We have several opportunities for our participants of all skill levels. Just getting started in competition golf or want to learn more about team formats? Check out our chapter’s PGA Jr. League for team-based competition. Looking for individual competition? Get involved in our annual Club Championship and the Race to the First Tee — Fort Worth Cup! Our Race to the Cup series is First Tee — Fort Worth’s own tournament circuit in which participant’s earn points each tournament to see who will compete in the final event of the year! Outside of these opportunities, we also have occasional qualifying events for team competitions versus First Tee chapters around the state like our Battle of the Boot, I-20 and I-45 Cups!

Please note: Participants wishing to register for any of the opportunities below, with the exception of PGA Jr. League, must be an active participant enrolled in at least one class or camp within the past 12 months.
Race to the Cup!
Tournament golf for all! Participants in the Race to the Cup Series will compete in stroke-play competitions for points to compete in the Race to the Cup Championship at the end of the year!
Our annual Club Championship will now be the kick-off for the Race to the Cup Series.

PGA Jr. League
Sponsored by the PGA of America, PGA Jr. League brings friends, families, and communities together through the game of golf by offering team-based, competition golf for kids of all ages and skill levels. First Tee — Fort Worth is proud to host its own section of PGA Jr. League captained by our very own PGA member, Coach Chuck Dechert.

Battle of the Boot
Title defended!!! Congrats to our First Tee – Fort Worth team on their victory in the 2023 Battle of the Boot vs. First Tee – Greater Dallas!
The teams competed in match play competition at Meadowbrook Gold Course on Saturday, October 21.
FWJGA Boys & Girls Championship
Each year, the Fort Worth Junior Golf Association conducts a golf tournament for young golfers who reside in the service areas of First Tee — Fort Worth: all of Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Parker counties, and the portion of the City of Fort Worth that lies within Denton County. Made possible through generous partnerships with the City of Fort Worth and its surrounding country clubs, this tournament is offered FREE to its participants ages 7-18 each year! This team competition features matches between First Tee – Fort Worth and First Tee – Longview participants! Participants for the First Tee – Fort Worth team are selected based on past tournament scores, overall involvement in First Tee, and their ability to represent the values of First Tee – Fort Worth!
I-45 Cup
First Tee – Fort Worth and First Tee – Greater Houston participants battle it out for claim to the I-45 Cup!
We offer congratulations to the Greater Houston chapter for their win in the 2023 competition. While we may not have come home with the trophy, our participants came home with a ton of positive memories and experiences! Well played and an even better show of character from our participants!
